To put it plainly, our charge is to help the nation of Haiti by empowering its children. This empowerment comes through providing them with basic human necessities like shelter, clothing, nourishment and those all important school reading materials necessary to help kids rise above poverty through the power of education.

It is indeed true that children are our future in every sense of the phrase. A bold and bright future awaits a nation that takes the time to empower its children through the tenets of access to a quality education and the stability necessary for individual growth and prosperity.

The mission here at HFCR is to provide the children of Haiti with these tools of empowerment by the most effective and direct means possible. It is not always the case that a government can be responsible for providing its children with stability and access to educational materials; especially during times of national crisis. This is why the diligent work of organizations such as ours combined with the generous support of individuals like you is so important.
